About me

I was born on the 23rd of August 1977 in Madrid. Amongst other things I am sports technician and a shallow water diver. But on 2001 the Ambigu Theatre Company offered me a chance to join the crew which I immediately agreed to.  After many rehearsals and without being given the chance to perform on stage the opportunity arose to travel to Italy and take part in the Umbertide Theatre Festival in Peruggia. We performed at the Persio Flacco Theatre, a magical historic performance space running since 1820.  We staged Las Dos Orillas written by Rodrigo Garcia and directed by Marta Baro.  That was totally amazing and I found myself hooked on the experience of being up on stage.
Since then I have worked in various TV, theatre and film jobs.  May these lines serve as an introduction to my ongoing story.

He nacido en Madrid el 23 de agosto de 1977. Soy Técnico en actividades físicas y deportivas y buceador profesional de pequeña profundidad pero allá por el año 2001 el grupo Ambigú teatro necesitaba actores masculinos y una amiga, actriz de la compañía, me preguntó si me interesaba y no me lo pensé dos veces. Tras muchos ensayos y sin subirme a las tablas ni una sola vez me veo viajando en un avión que nos lleva a Italia para participar en el Festival de Teatro de Umbertide, Peruggia, en el  Teatro Persio Flacco, un lugar mágico que lleva en activo desde su inauguración allá por el año 1820. Llevamos a la escena Las dos orillas, con texto de Rodrigo García y dirección de Marta Baro. Encontrarme en un lugar semejante me dejó literalmente colgado y aunque estas cosas hay que tomárselas con la distancia oportuna, sí es cierto que existe este asunto del veneno del teatro, ahí justo en el escenario del Persio Flacco comenzó mi proceso de intoxicación para el que a día de hoy no encontré antídoto.

Ahora tras muchos y variados trabajos en teatro, cine y televisión sigo en  esta profesión fascinante y difícil.
